Hello, just a quick question about my new car. My driveway is on about a 20 degree incline, and when I park, and put the car in Park, and pull up the hand brake, then release my foot from the brake pedal, I find the car slips back a couple of inchs before it settles down. Now my old Mazda 626, and my hus. Blazer do not do that. I called BMW and the service dept. person said all the BMW's do that and should not be a problem. Is this just something inherent to a German made car?

I've owned Porsches, Audis, and VW's and never known any car to do that except one that needed either new brakes or a handbrake cable adjustment.
