Hello all!!!!!!!!! This seems like an awesome place!!!

I have had this 86 Cutlass Supreme for about 8 mos now and love it. I've had to do a lot more work and spend many more dollar signs than it's really worth, but since it's such a pretty and smooth car in good shape, I wanna keep it for a while. Barely a dent on the body- wish I had a pic to put up.


Anyhow, I'm having some carbeurator problems with it. The carb needs replacing. In the meanwhile, I'd love to perk the sleepy ol 307y V8 under the hood. From the factory it's sluggish since it's an old-school luxury GM. I'm sure that there are some things I can do to perk it up a little. For something that has this big of an engine and uses so much gas (15 mpg), something must be getting wasted. Since the carb needs replacing, I'm browsing possibilites of performance parts and such. I'd rather get a bit more power for the gas I'm using. NOTE----- I am not stupid, lol. This 307 will NEVER hang with a Mustang 5.0. I'm just looking for a noticeable perk in the power for daily driving.
