And I am a VERY proud owner and ecstatically happy customer of unStable Hybrids for it! BUT--- It's not a Silvia. Those are not only CA or SR powered, but also only coupes. The fastback like mine is the 180sx.
I gotta tell ya, the Skyline motor in the smaller, lighter car makes for a wet dream come to life!!!! :)#)

Hey Vitesse I saw your car at Nopi this year and have bunches of pics (in fact there on this site), just wanted to ask what kind of wheels did you have on it? (the dark green ones)

BTW, it's a baddass car and Joel did a good job on it

I am about to embark on putting a rb20det into my S13 Silvia.
Can someone tell me exactly what has to be fabricated/modified in order for it to fit and work. I've been getting conflicting reports as to what has to be done. If I have a R32 RB20DET front cut, R32 tailshaft, and a larger capacity fuel pump, is that all I need? Also, how hard is the electrics to wire up and get working?

Well, into a S13 200sx (JDM 180sx)!

I mailed joel and the guys at UH. Very helpful.
However, there is another company in Aussie that does a "push in drive out" conversion called Sub-Zero. these guys (Mick Stanick) was very helpful also giving me the advise which I needed.

Whereas UH told me Id need to have custom engine mounts, gearbox mounts and sway bar - Sub-Zero told me to use the GTS X-member and bolt the suspension and steering rack from my car onto it. It works a treat! Need to heat the sway bar a bit cos its REAL close to the sump. ALso, cos the S13 box is actually longer than the R33 box, I had mounts made up to make it all work. The gear lever now sists approx 40mm nearer the front of the car! UH told me that on their car the lever hits the centre console - mine doesnt!
The front half of the propshaft was used - well actually, only the spline which slides into the back of the box and the flange which bolts up to the prop.
A whole new front section was made up and balanced.

I already had a FMIC so I decided that something different was required with regard to the intake plenum - I wanted something like that seen on the GTR (Front facing throttle body). After looking at Greddy etc, I came across Sub-Zero. I ended up spending way more than I wanted to, but at the end of the day you can see the pic and I think it looks real good. It provideds enough air for up to 700 bhp too!

The wiring is an absolute joke. My car still isnt working properly (speedo/Revs etc) and the engine has been in there since mid march! Still needs a bit more time when the shop can get round to it :(

Do your homework first mate and you will find the job goes a lot easier.

The sound is awseome ( I also have a 3" front decatted pipe and a Blitz NUR cat back section) and the torque is amazing! All the peeps Ive taken for a ride in it have said thats its awseome too! I R/Rd it and it was producing 305 at the Flywheel at just 7.5 psi!
The inlet plenum helps.....:D

F U GABE! You think I didn't see that disgusting crap you wrote about me on another page? Don't you dare talk to me ever again-- it wouldn't be wise of you to get within range of my fist! If I ever see you at the car club meetings again, you'd better have an escape route planned. :loser:
