The heater core has gone out on my 92 Deville. I'm wanting to replace it myself. Does anyone have any info on the best way to do it? Will I have to take the dash off? Thanks, Barron

depending on where you live, you may want to ask yourself "do I really need a heater?" because if its as involved as everything else I done on my 92 Deville, you would be better off to rebuild the engine thru the tailpipe :screwy: :2cents: :banghead:

I did mine on my 93 SDV, you come thru the glovebox and take the plastic piece loose from under the dash, it looks cramped in there but its not too bad remove all the electronics they only fit one way so oyu cant mess it up just have a good memory on what you take loose, the real problem lyes with the AC collector, it has to come off to get to the heater hoses and its a very small fit, it took me about a hour to do, and the Heater core is about $56, It can be done..
