does any one know of a trans crossmember which accomadates dual exhast and will fit a 1979 El camino or has built their own and can send me the specs. to build it may self:flipa:

ive been looking for one of those for 10 years now,i just bent my pipes on the driver side to go around the xmember. thanks again for that link even though it wasnt for me, i still do appreciate it.

Those crossmembers fit really nice. Had to change the tranny mount though. No big problem though. I have mine in an 80 with a 406, 4 speed, headers and 2 1/2 duals.

Hey, you got to go to the Malibu racing forum and find a guy called Iceman. He builds these crossmembers for the company in the above link. Just got mine for a 700 R4 last week, cost $109 with shipping. alot better than over $200.
