I have a 1988 pathy.
It has a manual transmition wich workes good exept for the reverse. It will not even go into reverse. you can put as much force as you want and nothing. I tried to put it in reverse with an engine on/off, while in 4 wheel or in neutral. Nothing.
So I am thinking it is a linkage problem. Unfortunaltey I have never worked on transmitions before. I am getting ready to take it off and see what i can do. I have two different manuals but they do not explain much.
Do you have any tips on what the problem might be, how to go about fixing it and where to look for a good manual?
