resonator and headerericdd 09-27-2001, 11:51 PM Right now I have a Ractive muffler and the exaust shop said that removing the resonator would make a big difference in performance but will removing the resonator from the exaust make the car alot louder or just change the sound. i would like to keep my car as quiet as possible so would putting a glass pack in it's place be of any benifit. How much louder would the header make the car. P10DET 09-28-2001, 07:43 AM Leave the resonator in. Removing it will not make any noticeable difference in performance and it will get loud as hell. If you have a stock B pipe, getting a larger one made up with an aftermarket resonator, it should still be quiet and it will flow better. Be aware that exhausts don't really make any power on our cars. The header won't add any noticeable noise. AznVirus 09-28-2001, 09:43 PM Originally posted by P10DET Leave the resonator in. I kind of like Magnaflow. They are on the web. I'm not impressed with Dynomax products. AznVirus 09-29-2001, 10:16 AM Originally posted by P10DET It's just a 4" round muffler from many places.
