ultra upgraded V6 or a new 350 vortec? whitch one?

i should be getting a 1988 S-10 Blazer mid- next month that is coming with some supreme extra items(like a vette rear axle, brand new S-10 extreme V6, new 350 vortec just to name a few:)) and i can't firgue out witch engine i should use in the truck. the standard V6 has somewhere around 460HP and around 690ft. lb. torque and was rebuilt and has only 4k miles. the 350vortec was rebuilt and has 0 miles and the guy who is selling it says that it will run around 10sec. with the vette axle.

i'm just having a hard time picking an engine. can someone help?



P.S. the V6 that's already in it can pull an 03 dodge ram with a new hemi with ease(the ram going the oposite direction full throtle):):)

I would stick with the lighter weight v6. What kind of mods is in the v6 anyway to get that much hp and tourqe out it?

i'm not really sure? i didn't pop the hood.
