Strut bar install?First&LastCavalier 12-17-2002, 06:15 PM Ok i just got a strut bar i will install it on the weekend. Its a ractive strut bar, has one else installed this strut bar or any kind of strut bar? will i need to take it the shop or can i do it myself? the main concern is the 3 bolts that around the shock absorber area, if i take them off will they need a alignement? and the shocks and springs won't just pop off the car will they? never done a strut repair so i'm a newbie to it any help would be thankfull Pikachoo 12-26-2002, 04:42 PM Nope, it's a home job. Just remove the bolts, and install the brace, and bolt it all back down. Do you have to drill your own holes with your kit?? mugenrsx 01-07-2003, 01:35 AM Thats like 30 horsepower, lol. You autocross? First&LastCavalier 01-09-2003, 07:53 PM Hmm what did you pay for your items to make your vette go faster? Thing is i got this car for free did you pay for yours? I'll put these 30 horsepower items on my car and turn around and sell it to some dumb kid that will think its a race car, so before you bitch about a strut bar take a look at your ride and your parts you tring to sell now Pikachoo 01-13-2003, 10:45 AM Where the hell did that come from?? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
