anyone know the specs on the mid 90s 2.5 RS?

i was at the light by my apartment complex and this guy pulled up alongside. I got the jump on the launch even with my jacked up clutch, and never looked back. i put 6 or 7 lengths on him and hit the flashers
turns out he lives in my complex. i got a thumbs up

A 1998 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS, runs 0-60 in 8.3 sec and the 1/4 in 16.4 sec. This is according to Car and Driver.

thanks i had no idea what to expect when racing it. i did know it had awd, soi was surprised when i got the jump:confused:

heh, AWD cars scare me sometimes...early 90's Eagle Talons...ah jeeze...those are one of the few cars that u jus line up next to, hear the turbo spool, then blow, then jus watch it go "bye bye." still fun to see wut they got tho rite? :p

There not quick at all, the new WRX rips though. Before I went forced induction the WRX killed me on the freeway, But now I could rip off there head and Shit in there neck:eek: :bloated: :devil:

this wasnt the same body style as his. this was before we got the wrx over here

I know. but he has the same motor on a heavier body...

yea i know what you mean i wonder why???:confused: nothing like holding at 4500, slipping the clutch and flying out the hole.....and watching the other guys eyes fall out his head while he's still fighting for traction.... you gotta love it:smoker2:
