Check for fuel pressure. Check for spark.

You will need a fuel pressure guage. Most auto parts stores loan tools. I can't say for sure if there is a test port on this particular system, but if not you'll have to disconnect the pressure line and install a "T" fitting to test.

To check for spark, pull the cover off the engine and connect some old plug wires to the contacts (you will have to remove the boots that are on there). I have a big box full of old wires at work, but I'm sure you can find something. Plug a spark tester into each wire one at a time. Leave the other 3 wires connected to the correct plug while testing the 4th one. An open in a secondary ignition wire can cause damage to the coil.

Yeah, this is what you need to check fuel pressure on the Quads.

Though I dont know if this is kansascity boy's troubles.
If one of the wires were not connected or possibly hooked up wrong, it may not start. :2cents:

Sorry I left that out....
Try this link here (http://www.autozone.com/az/cds/en_us/0900823d/80/0e/4d/6f/0900823d800e4d6f/repairInfoPages.htm), should help you test what can be tested without a bunch of technical equipment.

Good Luck
