I got the car in January of 07, since then I have had issues with the heater not getting warm. Recently we have changed the Radiator, and the two hoses that connect to the Radiator. After that we drove it for a few min. and noticed that it was still overheating. It is leaking under the motor on the drivers side. Close to the middle of the engine. It is coming out very fast. We have heard a hissing sound followed by steam coming up between the thermastat housing and the block(can't see to really locate the place it is coming from)We filled the rediator with water just to see where it was leaking from and the heater warmed up while idling but stop warming up after driving it for a minute. Can you help us figure out maybe where to start trying to fix it. Thank you :banghead:

One option I *think* (I'm an amateur) is that it's the lower intake manifold leaking. Also, possibly could be the large solid hose that goes from the heater core to the intake. That might explain why the heater doesn't get hot. The heater hose isn't as bad to get to as the manifold. Both require a moderate amount of work (couple full days) if you're not an expert.
