98 Grand Am GT 2.4 automatic trans. Can drive the car for weeks with no incident. However when traveling over 60mph for only three minutes or so the "ETS" light will illuminate and will not go off unless I leave the battery unpluged over night. No codes stored in memory. Any help would be appreciated I have been working on this for weeks now replaceing parts
Now I'm broke and desperate.:banghead: oh yeak 120,000mi.

You need an ABS capable scan tool to read the ets codes.
If I had to guess one of your wheel speed sensors are going bad.

If you replaced these you need to clear the code(w/ABS scann tool) before the lights will go away.

Could also be your ETS switch going out... that is on your shifter , right ??

Hope that helps and Welcome to AF.

Thanks for the info.. Are these sensors part of the hub assemblies or can I change the sensors seperately?

Unfortunatly the speed sensor and hubs/bearings are all one unit. They arent to cheap either, around $120 each.

If you do replace them do not buy the chinese brand, they are junk. Timken I think is the better of these models.
