Way too much clear IMO. I realize it is small, but still.

I think it's a 1/43. Still I agree the clear took all the sharpness off of that model.

I haven't even it cleared it yet, the snow sure reflected my room to a shine that looks like a clear.
I only used Tamiya Primer and TS49.

That's a nice shine without clear. But it still looks to much paint in this case.
And you'll lose even more details and sharpness after clearing it.
Just my opinion. I might still be contradicted by the end result! :D

Spike2933 - looks good.
1/43 is hard to get the paint looking right sometimes.
What do you need to help you with the build?

The paint is way too heavy and does not realistic at all. I think it's better to airbrush 1/43rd when ever possible. I would strip it and start over(just my 2 cents)

it looks very nice in plain view, the pics were taken maybe in too bright of a setting (having the sun reflect off snow makes everything look way too bright)
I have since put the decals on and Cleared it, hope to post a few pics soon, having some camera problems.
also I don't have an airbrush :frown: I would like to get one though, but don't know much about them and haven't relly done any research yet
@Builder77 : I would like to know if you have any engine pics, or I can also follow off your progress with the level of Detail, although Tameo's version is much more simplified version of the engine

Sorry for the very harsh comments on the paint job, and I hope the new photos will do more justice to it! I'm eagerly expecting to see how this turns out.

oh man, I didn't even realize this, but tameo supplied me the wrong rear suspension :(
It was suppose to be open to show the suspension detail, but instead its capped
(what its suppose to be)

dryfitted with engine
http://img518.imageshack.us/img518/3336/1001573az5.jpg
I've already sent Tameo an Email and hopefully they will send me the right part
