Braking on wet roadsMidlazy 12-04-2007, 09:04 AM 1999 Monte Carlo Z34...I am getting no help from the manufacturer or dealer on a do-it-yourself fix. I need to remove a portion of the closeout panels in the front wheel wells to improve the water flow on wet road conditions. There was no recall, but a "safety improvement". The fix ended 3 years ago. I got the scare of my life while driving in rain with no brakes when I needed them. I had to pump the brakes to remedy it. This is very dangerous! Anyone know what portion of the closeout panel to remove? maxwedge 12-04-2007, 10:58 AM Welcome to AF, basics here, start by posting the year.
