well heres the deal. Took the car downtown to pick up a few things, left it running while in stores etc, car was running for about a hour i guess. Anyways on the way home the steering got real stiff about 10km from my house. Got it home checked the resevoir and was low. Put in some new oil, got in car started and turned wheel to run it through lines. Nosie went away for a minute or two then back, refilled again and repeated about 2-3 times. Seemed like alot of PS fluid so looked under car where to my surprise was a big puddle of fluid. Cant really get underneath it right now due to snow / ice in driveway and no garage. Just looking for some suggestions before i bring to the great local garages here and get told i need a whole new steering assembly all for the low price of 2500 or something stupid like that.:banghead: :banghead:

Without inspecting the area leaking you wouldnt know what it is, but I;d suspect a hose burst.

You didnt mention your year/engine/trans etc etc so its guess work from here.

Good Luck and Welcome to AF!
