This is annoying

This chevy is annoying, the wheel bearings feel and sound like they're going out again! Just suddenly starts one day and sounds terribe for just suddenly starting, then if you take a corner sharply the car makes a "ding ding ding" and fluids are at the right levels. So far the only thing I see this car good for is fair gas mileage for a mid size sedan. Should I just get the bearings fixed and get it sold already or what? Girl is thinking of getting a coupe with a 4cyl anyway. I don't know what to think about this car, I've personally not owned a chevy before and they're not making a good impression on me.

There is no direct technical question, only you can decide which is the right path here. Unplug each fluid level sensor to isolate which one is the culprit.

Sorry, are these wheel bearings common to go bad quickly?

No, unless they are under or over torqued during installation, also check for scalloped or unevenly worn tires which can mock a bearing noise.
