'90 sedan turn signal problems

I have an integrated switch - wipers, cruise control, blinkers and pull hi/lo beams - I havent priced it yet but someone says I might be able to just replace the contacts for the turn signals instead of the whole thing - found out wiring runs way under dash before it reaches a plug to unplug the control unit

oh, to let you know whats happening, sorry - when I turn right, it flashes just fine on dash but I have been told it doesnt stay flashing outside - when I turn left, I have to wiggle the switch lever to make contact and it will blink then until I start turning wheel when it stops blinking altogether - the other stuff attached to the lever works just fine with no problems is why I am hoping I can rebuild it or replace contacts or whatever you wanna call it

any information would certainly be helpful - Thanks

Replace the switch, anything else is temporary.

Replace the switch, anything else is temporary.

I was hoping to not have to do that - priced one out - least expensive I can find in my area is about $450 because it is an integrated switch - that doesnt include labor either which is rated at about 7 hours due to the complexity of where the wires are routed

that is why I just wanted to fix the contacts for the turn signals instead of replacing switch because all the rest of whats integrated does work just fine - but since I am not getting any information that it can be done successfully, I guess I will just drive it as is because I dont feel like dumping that much more into a car just to get turn signals to work correctly

Thanks for the input anyway even tho it wasnt quite what I was hoping for

what the difference is after looking at the web site you posted is that is just the turn signal unit - my turn signal is also integrated into the wipers and hi/low beam switch altogether in one big unit inside the steering wheel - oh, and the cruise control as well - its a pain in the rear but I will just deal with it as is

Thanks for the input though - it was very thoughtful and informative
