Can any one tell me if a 97 cavalier tranny will fit into a 96 sunfire? they look a little different but there almost the same. thanks in addvance

if your shifter says PRN12 and so did the donor tranny then yes.

3 speed automatic will swap right over 95-97 years. 98-02 had 4t40e 4 speed.
