:runaround: :runaround: :grinno: I have a nice car, mom gave it to me, at that time, 4 years ago, it did not leak water. I have had water on the passenger and drivers side for 2 years and all I do is just vacuum it all out and tarp it. However, I have been asking for help. My car is a 3.3L engine, recently has had new windshield replacement, has had in past the heater core replaced, numerous other problems including transmission. My car runs nicely, love it, but am tired of all the water. It is not raining out today and yet the floors are wet again. I vacuumed them out to be nice and dry, drove the car about 4 blocks and woolah, all wet again. I vacuumed out again, drove about 4 blocks, and woolah, wet again, but this time much of the water was only on my side, drivers side. What the xxxx is going on? Please help me!

That water leak is a design problem in all these N-body cars for these years. Mine is a 1995 Skylark with the same problem. I tried removing the wiper arms and cowl and used urethane to seal everything that could be sealed. I replaced the cowl and used more urethane to seal that up too. Same problem. I also had a GM service bulletin that had the "solution" but that didn't work either. It was just about the same thing I'd already done.

The leak comes through the HVAC system and I can't tell where it is. My solution has been to use a towel where I would pull out the carpet from the firewall area and stuff it behind the black area it covers. I change it after it rains or after I wash it.

I really think GM should recall this thing and repair it. After all, we've had cars for over 100 years for Pete's sake. Why can't they design one that won't leak?

I had found the leak in my buick 1993 skylark on the drivers side under the hood where there's a manufactory seem there looks like they used caulking lol anyway it comes in above the e break you have to remove carpet like and you'll see where it comes in then have somebody spray a garden hose
