My Pathfinder starts to reek of gas in the mornings, but only in the mornings? Fuel usage is fairly high 13-15mpg but there are no leak spots evident. Acceleration is also a little slow(in my mind) and I have a check engine light on but I dont know what the code(s) are as I can't get my hands on a reader. Taking it to the dealership in a week but trying to figure out what's wrong prior to that and maybe save a little money. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Your codes can be read under the passenger seat right off your ECU. You should be able to read them if you look under your seat from the rear of the seat.

I had the exact same problem. The code for the check engine light is going to lead to your fuel injectors. I was going to get all 6 of mine replaced, but then I found out that only one of the fuel injectors was giving me a problem. So I replaced it and all was good after that. The check engine light went off, the gas smell disapeared, and my acceleration increased a little. If you need a quick way to check which fuel injector is busted, here's what I did. (Be careful though) I stared up the truck and disconnected one spark plug wire at a time (the other 5 spark plug wires were still connected) If the engine idled a little rougher, or sound like the power decreased a little bit, then that means that fuel injector is working. If the engine did not make any change at all, then that is the busted fuel injector. I have a 95 pathfinder, this should work with yours.
