98 trans overdrive out

I have a 1998 f 150..... it only has 70,000 on it.. the over drive went out about 5,000 miles ago. IT did not throw any codes when i scanned it. so i pulled the trans and rebuilt it. the overdrive clutch plates were burned up so i thought for sure that was the problem. well i put everything together and overdirve does not work. '

it goes through 1,2,3 just fine then it gets to 4th and just revs up. I have checked the Vss, i replaced the TR or MLPS.... I have no clue why I cant get over drive to work....

try checking the overdrive swich/button for proper function. also try a koeo self test and a koer self test. you might also want to post your trans type. 4r100, e4od,4r70w so someone can help you better. you should check tork converter function as well
