I have a 1997 Plymouth breeze with about 198,000 miles on it. I went to town today and back wich is a 20 mile drive back in forth. I got home and noticed a small puddle of coolant on ground. Then went for a short drive and car started to overheat and more fluid came out then pulled thermostat it wasnt that got it all back toghether. Then I poured some water in and it all came back out on the ground leaking from the front of the motor. I looked at the head gasket nothing was leaking from there so I need to know what the deal is. Any help would be cool.

Coolant Leakage: You describe an external leak that is visible. Most obvious sources would be waterpump (weep hole), radiator or heater hoses. Another source could be freeze plugs. Inital overheating probably was caused by low coolant which was a result of leak. Head gasket leaks are seldom visible externally. You didn't say how you determined thermostat was OK.
