Hi everyone, I have a 1996 Jimmy slt and was wondering if any one can help me identify a hose. The hose iam refering to is the large hose exiting the top of the radiator on the drivers side ( right hand side if your looking at the rad from the front of the veichle).

The hose snakes under the air filter housing and into the manifold I think. The reason why iam asking is because the other day I noticed smoke coming from under the hood. As soon as I popped the hood i smelt coolant and notice the smoke coming from the area close to the PVC valve and the end of the hose i was describing.

Today i ran the truck for a while and noticed the smoke again and as soon as i lifted the hose i was able to see coolant drip on to the manifold. Just wasnt able to clearly see the other end of the hose due to the air filter housing that sits on the manifold. Any suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated.....thanks.

About 1 1/2" in diameter... upper radiator hose.
