I was hoping to do this as a full-detail build--open up the body, install the FOUR 426 Hemis and a full detail cockpit. But unfortunately, not only is it a SOLID block of resin all the way through, but it's also an oddball scale, like a 1/38th or something, so finding parts would be impossible anyway. The customer was okay with having a curbside though, so this'll be a nice quick build. Just sanding down the major imperfections and added the hoodscoops, for now.

May i ask, how much was this kit and who makes it? Interested in to see how this kit will look like once built.

Interesting subject. Where is the cockpit, on the tail? This beast seems quite big!! I'm tuned to see more.

It's a Jimmy Flintstone resin kit. Roughly $40, I forget exactly.
And ya, that's the cockpit way at the back. :smokin:

Fabulous subject to build - all the best of luck with it.
One off these days I'm going to do a 1/8th So-Cal Bellytanker. :pimp:

Not being familiar with the subject myself, I did some searching for pics and info . . . links below. The picture of the resin body made it seem much larger than it really is for some reason . . . but still wouldn't want to try and parallel park it

Finally got a decent coat of gold laid down. It's basic slow-drying enamel, so it's still a little soft, and I'm debating whether to clearcoat it or not.

Very impressive.
I read an article on that car awhile back and was just blown away by what they did w/ that car, and then even more blown away by the restoration project it was undergoing.
