BAD Diesel fuel leaklazaie 11-18-2007, 10:33 AM Ok, need some help with this one. I have a 1999 7.3 turbo that is leaking diesel fuel. It is NOT coming from the seal for the water seperator/fuel filter on top of the engine. It appears to be coming from the pressure relief lever OR there is some sort of fuel line directly under the pressure relief lever. Of course this is on the back of the engine so it is hard to pin point the exact location of the leak. It also seems to be dripping fuel from the pressure relief drain (on the bottom of the engine). So I have standing diesel fuel on top of my engine and it is dripping on the driveway....anyone ever have this problem????? Is this an easy fix? Any help would be great! 78fordman 11-18-2007, 03:25 PM are you sure what water separater drain is closed. it is a yellow lever on the back side of the fuel bowl. wwwildman 11-18-2007, 09:47 PM check the high pressure oil lines.
