My Chevy Lumina 94 had heater go on and off for a while and then just quit completely. What are the odds it is the "heater control valve"?
Fan doesn't turn either.
Please advise if you can. If you want or can email me at jimbarry45@yahoo.com it would be great.

Blower should still operate even if the heater control valve is bad. My guess would be the blower motor itself.

before you venture into replacing anything check the fuse for the Blower Motor. I would hate to see the same thing that happened to me happen to you! I went without heat for several long cold winter months, finally decided to try to fix it. We pulled out the blower motor and broke some of the fan "blades" from the unit, therefore requiring its replacement...for around $60. Got the new unit installed only to find the problem still persisted. Later found out that there is a fuse for the blower motor, and sure enough that was the problem. Basically an easy low-dollar quick fix turned into a major hassle. Check the easy...and cheap possiblities first
