I should imagine it would, since the WRC is a 2.0 turbo, a 2.5 turbo should have significantly more power than the 2.0.
I know of a guy that got 362HP out of his 2.5 RS by adding various mods including a turbo.

Using the motor as is? I would say no.

Going with low compression internals and cams? Yes.


But to be very specific on your question on "boost", on RS boost higher than WRX... no, the RS compression ratio is 9.7 to 1 as opposed to the 8 to 1 on the WRX.
