I have a 97 ZR2 that when I turn left or go over a speed bump it makes a clunking sound, sometimes it sounds like dry metal rubbing against dry metal. Could this be the U-Joints? I've posted here before for problems, and you guys were great at getting back right away. Thanks.

Double-check your shocks, might be a loose bolt on the mounts.

I've also seen similar symptoms caused by a bad torsion bar mount. . . Make sure you check them for visible damage, as well as applying pressure (by hand) to the torsion bar, checking for any movement.

'97s were recalled due to bad upper ball joints.
I had my lower joints replaced at the same time, I think at the
time I had less than 20k miles on the truck, now 65k.

Usually when making a turn, or going over a large bump, is when you'll notice the symptoms.

To test it out, jack up the R.F (put it on a jack stand if possible), and try tilting, jolting the wheel by hand, to see if you can pinpoint where the noise is emminating from. As stated above in the other posts, you should be able to see shiny metal if any of those itiems are the problem.
