In the past I have had to replace the starter so it was actually the first thing I checked, but the starter is all good....I also spoke with someone and they were pretty sure it may be the neutral switch (where is this located???)...Personally I was thinking it was the ignition switch, but when I went to buy one there were two seperate parts (the lock key tumbler, and the piece with heavy wires that is supposed to go behind it somewhere in the steering column).....This is a reoccuring ploblem....at one point I would have to crank the car a few times to get it to start. Now when I crank it I hear no click = no turrnover......I can hear a sort of clicking sound from the glovebox but nothing from the starter......I cant even move my car for street sweeping because the parking brake is on and wont come off when the car is taken out of park as it normally does once started.....I need help.....does any one out there know how to sucessfully diagnose this problem....... I need my vehicle..........Help...

Thanks in advance,

There is a manual release underneath by the parking brake pedal. You have to stick your head under and find it.
When you say you have to "crank the car a few times to get it to start", does this mean it turns over a few times before starting or you have to try the key a few times to get it to crank?

yeah I found that release thanks....but as far as cranking the car i mean that
I have to turn the key 2-3 times before the car actually starts....now it wont start at all.....

I'd be looking at fuel pressure first, if no start also check spark, basic diagnostics. This again assumes the engine turns but won't fire.
