I feel for that car. The driver must have been doing something stupid to run into a mound of dirt! YellowMaranello 10-19-2001, 10:00 PM How did the driver get out? All the windows seem to be intact.... gang$tarr 10-20-2001, 12:31 AM Originally posted by YellowMaranello How did the driver get out? Door? we dont need no steenking door! gang$tarr 10-22-2001, 05:20 PM Originally posted by Cavallino lol. dummy. Door? we dont need no steenking door! the roof is on, you need to use the door F20C 10-22-2001, 07:35 PM Do you know how hard it is to climb over the middle console where the shifter sits at with the roof on? Jay! 10-22-2001, 07:37 PM Originally posted by F20C Do you know how hard it is to climb over the middle console where the shifter sits at with the roof on? I do. The first time I saw an S2000 up-close was one on a dealer back lot. It didn't have seats, so we had to just lean in to look at stuff. The center piece is really high off the floorboard. gang$tarr 10-22-2001, 07:50 PM Originally posted by F20C Do you know how hard it is to climb over the middle console where the shifter sits at with the roof on? i think if you just crashed you wouldn't be concerned about how tough it is getting out.... plus that could have been his only way out F20C 10-22-2001, 10:23 PM I didn't say concern. I said it's almost impossible for big tall guys to get out of the car through center console. Anybody over 6 feet will have trouble. gang$tarr 10-23-2001, 04:54 PM well no matter how big the person is, he'll have to get through there anyway, to get out :D :D fernandoleon 10-29-2001, 10:01 PM :eek2: that sucks dude it's a nice car is it at all dameged permenetly? layingrubber 01-07-2002, 07:02 PM Or, instead of smashing the window, he could just roll it down 90CRXZCSi 01-31-2002, 03:03 AM Yea i agree....that's terrible. There was definitley some excessive speed involved in this race.:D Veetec 02-06-2002, 10:07 AM Originally posted by flylwsi cant feel too bad... once you get the mud off it cant be that bad... the damage doesnt look too horrible, and besides, in mud, it aint so bad... Uhm,.....? The right front wheel doesnīt touch the ground anymore because most of the front is stuck deeply into the soil! .....but the damage wonīt be that bad..... the whole chassis might be distorted, but who cares? Itīs just a small, nearly not noticeable damage! And mud is kind of wet normally, isnīt it? It doesnīt look wet to me neither.... :silly2: F20C 02-07-2002, 05:27 AM Originally posted by 90CRXZCSi Yea i agree....that's terrible. Brice 02-15-2002, 02:50 AM You know what you guys....he wrecked the car, opened the top, crawled out, then opened the door and closed the top. There you go! Nice and....rational....kinda. :) It's actually quite funny how we're trying to figure out what's going on from a simple pic. bbc_flux 02-22-2002, 05:05 PM how did he get the front end up in the air like that?, he hit a ramp or something....?...looks like he was flying when he hit it Marasmus 03-05-2002, 03:25 PM 1. It's easy to lose the rear-end on an s2000. Honestly, it doesn't matter. the driver didn't lose the rear end. He lost the front-end by going into a turn too fast and slamming on the brakes. Look at the curve of the road and the direction the front tires are facing. The car's front wheels came loose and the car just drifted right into that mound. Bummer. 2. How is his front wheel up in the air? The s2000 has a 50-50 weight distribution from front to rear. The other three wheels are touching the ground in one way or another. In this position, the weight is mostly balanced, and the front-right wheel can remain up in the air without trouble. Especially due to being face-planted in the side of a freakin' hill! :) sorry to nitpick - my dad's been in forensics since i was born, so I grew up analyzing accidents like this! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
