97 Blazer Turn Signal and Brake Light Problem

I have a '97 Blazer with a different problem than the other related problems I see on this forum. This all started after going through a car wash:

With the hazard switch UP, the turn signals don't work and the brake lights don't work.
With the hazard switch DOWN, the hazard lights don't flash but now my turn signals work properly (front and rear). But the brake lights still don't work.
The center brake light over the rear window doesn't work at all.

After reviewing some of the posts on this forum, I cleaned and then replaced the multifunction switch but this didn't help.

I also disconnected my trailer hitch harness, but again no change.

Does anyone have any other ideas?

Thanks.

Welcome to AF.

If no brake lights and the signals lights working good.
Check the brake light switch on brake pedal.
Check for power to it and power out when you push pedal down.

With pedal down the brake light switch should feed power to turn signal switch and to the center high mount brake light.

If you have brake light to turn signal it should split inside turn signal switch and feed rear brake/turn signals and front turn signal bulbs.
