I had to replace my transmission because one of the coolant lines blew and I lost my ATF. I didn't drive very long this way (obviously), but long enough to burn it. I fixed coolant line and refilled ATF, but could only limp home in manual low.
Anyway, some-one is interested in buying my old tranny and converter. He wants to know how much I want for it. I have no idea what this thing is worth. Any knowledgable help in a fair price would be appreciated.

I sold my burnt transmission with converter for $100. Here is what the purchaser told me:
If it is up to 1995 then it is worth $50, if it is a 96-97 $75, 98 and later $100.

Most bone yards chare a core charge on a used transmission from 50-100-150$
But if selling one to them the price will go down to 25-50$
Sorry you had to answer your own question.
But you done good to get a 100.00$
Helps on replacing your old one.
Good Luck
