OK, so I assume that it's not supposed to do this, but I can pull the key out while in "acc" mode, then tonight I noticed that it comes out while the car is started!! Don't think it's much of a problem. It's a '93 so it's probably just getting old. I'm not complaining. I also don't have to listen to the dinger while the door is open with key in ignition. Anyone else got this?

it happens with my '90 as well - as long as the car works I dont see a problem with it doing that as I just have let mine do that - for now, on mine, it is more trouble than its worth but it is on the list of things to eventually fix

be ready to replace the lock cylinder eventually, but for now if you aren't worried about it, let it go. just make sure that when you turn car off, you put cylinder in locked position and it stays there without key in it. otherwise some dumbass can get in your car and drive off without the key.

the next thing that will occur is no key and the car will start or start with anything stuck in ignition key slot. rather than change sw i know a guy that used three kill switches that had to be thrown in a certain sequence to start engine
