Hello, I am hoping some one can give me a clue. There are two problems. 1. No interrior lights - checked fuses and wiring. Can not get any light at all from door operation or manually switching the lights on with the dimmer wheel. 2. Drivers side and passenger side front windows will not operate up or down (yes they are electric) however the rear two windows work fine. I was hoping this may be a fuse problem for both but i do not think so. All fuses in the main box under the dash check out. I checked as much wiring as i can including the wire way under the carpet on the drivers side.
Is there another location to look for fuses on this thing ? Is there a specific wire(s) i should be checking.
** Please help or steer in a direction. Thanks !! :runaround:

There is a circuit breaker in left side fuse box that powers the windows.

Get a test light and check both sides for power and for power to main window switch.
The pink wire from circuit breaker to switch.

Ok, will do later tonight. Any idea with the dome light or any of the interrior lighting, there is nothing at all, no map lights, no floor lighting, NOTHING

Test all fuses and circuit breakers and power feeds.

Get a test light or a volt/ohm meter and start checking for lose of power from battery and battery cables on up to and in fuse box.
And do not forget to check all grounds to.

A old bulb type test light hooked on the positive battery cable is a good ground tester.

Alrighty, went directly to the battery cable and found the problem - basically it was loose so i loosened it up, cleaned it and re-installed it. No problem there. I am asking if anyone knows (other than the main fuse box) if there are any other fusible links for the windows or interrior lights and where they may be located.

AS STATED IN UPPER POST THE WINDIOW SWITCH HAS A CIRCUIT BREAKER.
A direct fuse link for them no is the answer..
Depending on engine there is a couple of fuse links.

But they will kill power to main fuse box.
Does the fuse box now have power on all cirucits?

Dome and interriorr lights run off of horn 20 anp no 2 fuse.
Power windows are powered by the circuit breaker.
If your rear windows work and not the front the circuit breaker is powering the window switch.
Check the master switch for switching power to front windows?
Is the dome light still out?
If so check the no 2 horn fuse and does horn work?

I had the same problem with my 91 S10 Blazer. after tracing the power, I found the wire had broken in the hinge area. Inside the rubber boot that goes from the door to the body. power for all the window passes through the drivers door. I cut the wire and used a butt splice to fix it. I also have a problem with the dome lights not working, but the floor lights work. each time after replacing the 20amp fuse it would work again. Mine also has a problem with the heater/AC blower switch. I have replaced it twice. It gets hot and melts the switch over time. Wining behind the heater control and lighter all look like they have gotten hot. but I have not been able to find the cause.:banghead:
