1993 Chevy S10 Blazer, 137,000 miles. Has a new fuelfilter, spark plugs, wires, oil change a new gasoline regulator on an old Spider, new T.P.S. Starts but blows black smoke out the exhaust and cuts out and dies, new spark plugs keep getting gas on them.:disappoin

First check fuel pressure and check for bleed down of pressure. it should not bleed down and should hold proper pressure. If that checks out, get a scanenr on it and see what is happening, if there are any stored codes etc, etc.

There is a fuel line that supplies fuel to the CPI(spider) and one that returns un-needed fuel from CPI back to the fuel tank and one or both are likely cracked and spraying gasoline inside the intake plenum...they are called a Nut Kit by GM...it's available at most chain type auto parts stores in the HELP section, here's more info.
