OK we have a 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee and it doesn't want to start! The only way it will is if you hold the gas to the floor and then let up and keep reving it up until it runs on its own. When it was hooked up to the computer it read that it was the Idle Air Control.......so how do we fix it?!

Yes this deffinately sounds like a bad IAC Valve.

Just replace the IAC (Idle Air Control) Valve and remember to disconnect the battery before doing so.
