99 grand cherokee cooling problemsknor 11-04-2007, 06:39 AM I have a 99 grand cherokee that started overheating on the road. It started when I turned on the AC. I noticed the temp at about 240 and the AC was blowing warm air. I replaced the thermostat and fresh coolant. It stayed at 210 while driving w/no AC. Idling w/AC it started to rise. It was then that I noticed the cooling fan wasn't coming on. As I checked the fuse which was good, the upper radiator hose blew off and I had to shut it all down. Any help out there would be appreciated. Oh, I also replaced the serpentine belt in case it was too loose to turn the waterpump. The old one was all cracked and worn. dcx96 11-04-2007, 12:24 PM replace the relay for the cooling fan which is under the passenger headlite must remove fascai to get there though, they are notorious for going bad vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
