just wondering when you guys talk about your firebirds do you call them firebirds or trans ams? i say firebird but i noticed alot of people call them T/A so i was just wondering. goldz28 11-03-2007, 06:29 AM I think there is a difference. There are just firebirds and Trans Ams then you have the Ws6's Blackcrow64 11-03-2007, 09:38 AM I think there is a difference. There are just firebirds and Trans Ams then you have the Ws6's I agree... But I still voted for your mom... :smooch: stone_mound_camaro 11-03-2007, 08:46 PM i say firebird when im referring to the v6 and i just drool when i try to talk about T/As and WS6s ZRYDERVR4 11-03-2007, 09:47 PM oh ok i see so T/A for the V8s and firebird for the V6 got it. Nicholass1979 11-04-2007, 06:44 AM I have a 94 formula, I call it a firebird. its not a t/a, the main dif. is visual, its a great sleeper because there are alot of v6 firebirds that look alot like it and most people underestimate it, a quick look can't tell the difference, it takes a little time to tell, the tires, dual exhuast and the formula v8 stickers, which are small, and the others are popular mods for a 6... MrPbody 11-05-2007, 02:12 PM They're ALL "Firebirds". Trans Am is an optional package... But the base "F-Body" is the Firebird (Pontiac). They were Firebirds before T/A existed... Jim 89Firebird2.8 11-10-2007, 10:35 AM People always call my v6 a Trans Am. I just smile and nod. poormillionaire2 11-12-2007, 07:21 PM The 4th gen T/A's have the raised spoiler and a different front fascia (as well as the formulas). The WS6's also had the much desired Ram Air hood. Different models came with different rims as well. blindeyed 11-12-2007, 08:47 PM The 4th gen T/A's have the raised spoiler Excluding the 93's and 94's, which you had to order the Trans Am GT package to get the high rise spoiler. poormillionaire2 11-12-2007, 10:47 PM Details...details...
