So, after the F40, i have been really bloody busy with school work~ after 2 weeks of solid studying, i finaly cant resist my models and open another one as a stress releif.

This is my top most favourite D1 car, the kit is realy good, and some small modification can bring out top results.

Enough of the BS, lets start.......

First of all, the breaks in this kit needs major renovation, so i just deserted the original set and just get them of other cars, the front break is off FXX, and the rear break is off 430 challenge. dont you love it when they give u extra parts

Fitted on the wheels respectively, now we are talking~

Next is the body

Bonnet
http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k311/bai_s15/DSC01248.jpg
After doing this and then checking up reference, (a prety stupid thing to do) i found that its all wrong, so have to redo this part later.

opening side vent

thinned down the wheel arc, this will make it easier to set a more beautiful camber and offset

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k311/bai_s15/DSC01262.jpg

so, with those, the body is almost done and ready for primer, now lets move on to the interior, the biggest problem of this kit.

first of all remove the back pasenger seat and stripped the center console, and puddy up the cup holder, and such.

sanded down the dor panel

Well, I would love to give you some feedback/criticism on your build, but i can't see anything wrong with it! Maybe 1 thing though... Is it in reallife really red or a bit orange like it looks to me on the pics now.

Anyway, crisp paint job and keep it up.

Great work. Sorry I missed this thread first time around. My F189 is the same red and I am having a heck of a time getting my photographs to match the colour of my model. If I work it out I will be sure to let you know :)

Looks great so far, does this kit include a rollcage? I could swear I saw a pic of this on HLJ with the race interior. Good luck! :)

thanks mate~ i think the trick is to use white light, but my table lamp is yellowish, so it turns the whole white balance off, so the picture comes out weird, i'll try to take a better photo tonight.

Time for a little update.

Patching up the rear seat is almost done, jsut need some minor trimming and thats it. Next is gonna be a rollcage and wiring.

And as for the body, I've apply a thin layer of clear, and now the decals are on. I pretty much screw up all the large ones, the silver part is sp brittle and the overall decal sheet is so easy to rip. (i was swearing all the way when i was doin it). and after some patch up, heres the result.

Totally agreed, when they brought out that altezza, it was really underprepaired, NOB was not used to it, plus the fact that its pig ugly. also i think its the reason Nob came second in that year. hate that stupid altezza.

Hope to see your work one day mate.
