No Power Andie_J 10-28-2007, 07:46 PM
:frown: Today while driving she lost almost all power, about 45mph was all she would do. It all happened in a mile or so, and then didnt get any worse. Im sure the gas and air filter are good, new just a week or so ago. Its the same gas ive been using since ive had her, never any problem with that. There is no check engine light. Im at a total lost. Any ideas or suggestions? Andrea:) FL 3.2L 10-28-2007, 08:12 PM Rough idle? Thinking coil pack here, but it would get better with more throttle. Clogged cat? Andie_J 10-28-2007, 08:20 PM :frown: The idal seems to wonder up and down now, but its smooth not missing, kinda like you were giving it a little gas and then not. I was hoping for a Check engine light but so far none. Andie:) FL 3.2L 10-28-2007, 10:49 PM Might still find a code... Andie_J 10-29-2007, 07:03 PM  OK, Ive found my problem. Some critter had built his winter home in my air filter box. I believe there was well over a gallon of assorted stuff in it. After cleaning and new filter it runs fine and no light. Im just glad it wasnt a family with babies in there. http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb18/ddjddjr/mousenest002.jpg http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb18/ddjddjr/mousenest001.jpg Now how to keep them out? Thanks Andie:) billindelicato 10-30-2007, 05:27 PM panty hose...or nylon screen Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
