90' Deville Alternator wiring help!

Hey, okay so my alternator was bad, changed it a month later and I can't remember where the wires go. The 3 that are held together on the back of the alternator were pretty straight forward (i think) but the other 3 wires I can't remember where they go. One wire looks like a ground which I think goes between one of the nuts that hold the alternator. And the other two wires i'm pretty sure they go on the stud on the back of the alternator. I tried this but the car has no charge. Does anybody know if this is correct, or if I am doing anything wrong? Please and thanks.

Have you checked your battery? If your battery has a dead cell then it will not hold a charge.

The battery is good. But could the wires for the alternator make that much of a difference if one isn't in the correct place? I'm starting to think the alternator guy didn't rebuild it properly.

Maybe. I think there might be a kink in the engine or something. :(

Okay well, the three plugs that are held together all show a 12 volt reading. The 3 other wires, im sure two of them are grounds and the 3rd wire comes from the harness. The wire from the harness does not show any voltage. The prong on the back of the alternator is for the Battery since it says "Batt." I took a wire from the positive side of the battery to the alternator and the alternator started to make a whistling noise and the wire got really hot. Could the alternator still be screwed, or something else wrong with the car like a computer problem? Thanks.
