2002 chevy cavalier's oil filterserge 11-30-2002, 07:40 PM I have troubles locating the oil filter on my 2002 chevy cavalier. Could you explain me where I can find it? Thank you. Pikachoo 12-02-2002, 12:31 PM You have to take the intake tube and air box cover off to get to the filter. But supposedly you only have to drop it into a cylinder, so it's really nice. pmichelsen 05-22-2003, 10:06 PM Do you know where the bolt is for the oil pan. I look under the car and there are so many of them. Marc04 05-22-2003, 11:03 PM Originally posted by serge I have troubles locating the oil filter on my 2002 chevy cavalier. If it was me, I would take it to the shop to get the oil changed the first time, and have them show me where it is. Odds are they also know the quickest and easiest way to get to the filter also, so you can pick up a few pointers. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
