There are a few that have me down,cause I love this car.
#1 there is air coming thru the vents nomatter what setting,when in the off position. set to floor,air at floor ,set to dash,air at dash, set dash/cold,air at dash cold. Where is the actuator for the vents/diverter?

#2 There is a light to med thump/bump when making "easy " right turns, or backing to the rear and turning right kile out of parking spaces. Seems to be coming all from the front passenger side, can feel it in the floor and the wheel. No damage or incidents of curbing or andthing,Im a real grandpa when I drive. Left side is solid and quiet.

#3 There is a connector, runns from front to back on top of the trans on the drivers side of the car. It stops just about in line with the brake master cyl,if you drop straight down to the trans housing. The end is "pinned" down with the factory hold down serrated pin. I have a pic to include. It is not connected and I cantr find what it connects to there is ne lead or wirs comming to it. HELP?

I think #2 may me the cv ,but not really sure. all recalls are complete,but i keep reading of the pwr stearinig probs, and then wheel braeings. what gives?

Tires are 2 mos new and are great,kuhmos from discount tire, cheap but rate right up with goodyear. slitly harsh but i dont care,they are really good.
please if nothing else,see what this wire is supposed to connect to ,and the air coming thru when off,?? thanks to all,AF is a great Grand Prix forum and you guys are all great help. tom

I am having the same issue with my 04 gtp.
I have to manually unplug the blower which is located under the glove box. And I notice water is getting in. I have read that I need to replace the module but havent had a chance yet.

I have been hearing the tumping noise too. It sounds like a bad tye rod but I haven't had a chance to investergate either. I have only had the car for 6 months I am very dissappointed with these issues. I thought I was getting a great car for the money, but only to find out that GM has scimpped on some things.
