I need to replace a broken windshield washer hose and cannot get the wiper arm off. What's the secret?

Pop the cap off at the base of the arm, loosen the bolt underneath and remove the wiper arm.
You can also just pull them up and out of the way to the vertical position.

Thanks. I have actually had the nut off of both arms but cannot get the arm off. I suspect a hidden clip. But,,, maybe they are just frozen. I have to remove them to get the trim piece off to get to the washer hose.

No clip. Use a gear puller. Some WD 40 if it's really stuck.
