I have a 66 vette 427 425 with a solid lift cam.
The top of a pushrod rod on 6 is mushroomed (causeing noise of course)
What caused this to happen?
I also have the same problem on my 350 with a solid cam.

Welcome to AF, make sure oil is getting to the rocker/pushrod, great car/engine combo.
