Is there a difference between the air flow sensor and meter?

2001 Passat. I had my air flow meter replaced about 10 months ago. The emissions workshop light came on about 2 weeks ago. I took it to my VW mechanic and he said it was the mass air flow sensor. What's the difference? Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
