Hey this kits are quite popular in this days! :icon16: Hope that my build is up to the standars set by billypee and Hiroboy, difficult, I know guys!

I decided to make this conversion from the Estoril one just because I love the way Mansell overtook Senna on this race. Mr. Mansell achived this on very worn soft tires and from starting position of 12 at a very difficult to overtake circuit. One of his greatest moments IMHO.

From the very start of the 60YTB I started to collect references and noticed that the car is way different on the wings from the Tamiya version... little did I know then, A PDF file got his way to my hands with race by race differences, yes, technical drawings and all – Ouch! I hope I don't get banned or fined from the 60YTB for this, after all is a Ferrari related thing no? –

So let's get started! But first I would like to thank all who gave me references.

The aftermarket things and paint. Forgot to take pic but I will try to use real chamoise for the seat.

Mayor work on the 6 pice rear wing for Hungaroring. I'll keep just two pieces of the tamiya one. On top the Estoril sides. New ones white.

Here you can see the differences better.

I separated the front suspension to allow a one piece side.

Made a new electronic box, the one from Tamy is just for the Early version. You can see here my attempt to make a unidirectional pattern on the fuel pods and inside cabin.

Added some detail missing on the tranny (still working...) and suspension, later on I'll remake the dampers.

Finnally for this post I added some detail to the nose and you can see inside the new white pannel for the pedal reservoirs.

just noticed the perfect parts box, is that a wheel set or a detail set for the kit?

Thanks all for intentions to follow this build.
Hope not to dissapoint, this is my first F1. Not last, by the amount of kits I have now :grinno:

No, it's Seatbelt detail set T2A it is supposed for this car but from references the hardware is different hence the CM seatbelt set, I'll replace the miss matches with it.

By the way I didn't mentioned that decals are from Tamiya, Musseum Collection and Indycals, I think I'll use basically the MC ones but add some parts from Indycals and Tamiya. (Indycals Fiat decals are the best ones).

Nearly missed the start of this build Rodrigo! Thats some nice prep work you are doing. You are also fixing much more of the kit than I have attempted. I like the way you are sorting out the sides of the nose section so that it is no longer in parts... that will be a big job. Keep up the good work.
