Hey guys just stumbled on this great fountain of info (wish i knew abought this site when my fuel pump went)

abought 2 weeks ago my power windows would not work at all sometimes then 5 minutes later or after a restart they would be fine for a few days

Last saturday they quit for good no switches will operate any windows
I have checked the fuses and all are good browsed through all the topics i could find and am going to check the switch, wiring through door gromet and relay in the morning but had a question on were to locate the relay as well as if anybody else had any brainstorming as to what my problem may be

thank you in advance for any input :grinyes:

They get power from circuit breaker left side of dash fuse box.
If power there check pink wire to master switch and also for a good ground.
If that is good check switch for switching power to window motors?
2 or 4 door?

You are welcome and thanks for posting back how it went.
Glad you found the bad ground.
Bad grounds and voltage drops is sometimes is the cause of a lot of electrical problems.

For a fast test on a ground a person can hook a bulb type test light to the positive side of battery and touch the end of it to a wire to test for ground.
