Rear Cup Holder99 Fronty 10-15-2007, 10:31 PM Now here's an important one. I believe there is a TSB regarding the rear cup holder on 98 up Rodeo's. Anybody know what was changed, or got a copy? The spring clips fall off mine, seems a dodgy design. cheers, Andrew. pharm_rodeo 10-15-2007, 10:43 PM Are you talking about it not staying closed? I'd have to check my TSB files. pharm_rodeo 10-15-2007, 10:49 PM This is all I got: SB99-13-S003 TSB Date: 6/1/1999 Component:DRINK HOLDERSSummary:ONE OR BOTH OF THE MAGNETIC LATCHES DO NOT HOLD THE REAR CUP HOLDER LID CLOSED. I would assume you could just replace the latch. I've never paid any attention to it. 99 Fronty 10-16-2007, 12:25 AM No, mine won't stay open. It has two spring steel clips that are supposed to latch it open but they fall off and get lost. As far as I know there is no magnetic closing latch on mine. Andrew. pharm_rodeo 10-16-2007, 12:44 AM Strange. Mine has a magnetic latch and won't stay closed. Ramblin Fever 10-16-2007, 01:20 AM Hey, don't _ _itch!!!!! .....At least you GOT one! :runaround: :lol2: pharm_rodeo 10-16-2007, 01:37 AM Hey, don't _ _itch!!!!! .....At least you GOT one! :runaround: :lol2: You only carry your dogs in the back so you don't need one. Ramblin Fever 10-16-2007, 09:02 AM You only carry your dogs in the back so you don't need one. Ewww, I think my children/nephews would take offense to that one:lol: ; truth be told, dogs ride in the far back, I only allow one of the little ones on the back seat because she's 3#'s and can't see out the back window. Gizmo42 10-16-2007, 08:16 PM I have one about the arms not staying open or closed because the 'detent clips' are broken or missing. Its SB02-11-S004.
